I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed by recent stay at Gravbrot. The lodge was comfortable, clean and warm and very well run.
The managers were great hosts with a warm welcome when I arrived and a briefing for everyone at Sunday night dinner which set the mood for the week. I think their approach resulted in everyone doing the right thing in terms of assisting each other, including keeping the lodge and the kitchen clean and creating a homely atmosphere for all the guests.
The arrangements for self service breakfast and lunch were good as it allowed flexibility for everyone’s own schedule for the day. The evening meals were excellent and received much praise from all the guests. I noted what was done in relation to food storage and preparation and maintaining a clean kitchen. I know from my professional background about the importance of these things and the responsibility of people who are involved in food handling.
In addition the managers were appreciated by all the guests for their great passion for snow sports and their warm and friendly personalities.
I would highly recommend Gravbrot to anyone planning to holiday at Mt. Hotham.
